Copper alloy possible bar mount. Cast plate with oval ends and lightly engrailed edges, possibly comparable with a leaf design. A sub-rectangular slot is punched from what appears as the slightly convex display face. This is too large for a riveted fastening of usual; medieval type. It might alternatively be the bolster for a knife or tool, though the slot lacks the V-section to be expected of the former. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1450.
