A cast copper-alloy hooked tag of Post-medieval date. It is a Read (2008) Early post medieval class E type 3 tag. It has a flat sub-circular plate decorated with a multi-petalled flower within a linear border. There is a trefoil collar at the junction of the plate with the hook. The attachment loop is trapezoidal and appears d-shaped in section.
It is similar to examples published in Read (2008), numbers 354-355.
The recorder did not see the object or take the photograph.
