An incomplete and corroded Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650).
The pin is missing.
The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is similar in size and oval in plan. The narrowed bar is sub-triangular in cross-section.
This frame is green and corroded with iron staining on the bar.

Similar buckles have been published and dated c. 1350-1650 (Whitehead 1996: 53).
