An incomplete copper-alloy oval-shaped buckle frame with offset and narrow bar of Medieval date. It is missing the pin.
The buckle frame is D-shaped in section with a flat back. It has a pointed outer edge, with transverse groove for the pin.
This buckle frame measures 16.74mm in length, 20.16mm in width, 1.89mm in thickness, 1.84g in weight.
There are similar examples from London c. 1350-1400 (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, pp. 75, no. 306-308).
