An incomplete copper alloy Roman trumpet headed brooch dating to AD 75-175. The pin is missing and the foot of the brooch is missing as well as the loop at the top. At the top of the brooch, there is a semi-circular trumpet top with a line before the bow curves forward. At the middle of the bow, there are horizontal lines of decoration. Cf Hattatt (1989) A Visual Catalogue of Richard Hattatt's Ancient Brooches p326 no1436.

This artefact was found in the late 1990's and has been recorded on the database from a paper record. It has not been seen in person by the recorder.
