A worn and complete cast copper-alloy circular button of Post-Medieval date.
The head is D-shaped in section with a flat back face. In the centre of the front face is a raised circular boss with a circular knop at its centre. Radiating from the boss are transverse grooves. In the centre of the back face is an integral large perforated lug.
This button measures 13.64mm in diameter, 6.54mm in thickness 15.70mm in total length (including lug), 3.29g in weight.
