A Roman silver coin: a denarius of Septimius Severus dating from AD 194 (Reece Period 10), reverse legend FORTVN REDVC, depicting Fortuna or Hilaritas standing, facing left, holding a long palm in the right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Eastern Mint. References: Sear, volume 2, number 6278; RIC IV 383. The coin is 17.5mm in diameter and 2.3mm thick. It weighs 3.21gm.
