One piece of knapped flint debitage. A small tertiary chip taken off a larger core. Prominent bulb of percussion on the ventral face. The dorsal face shows evidence for multiple parallel blade removes, some in the same direction as the chip but starting further up the core, others at c. 120 degrees suggesting a multi-platform core. It appears accidental. Mid-grey mottled flint, 1.25 grams.
It is difficult to estimate the age of a single piece of debitage but the suggestion of muti-directional working may suggest a Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age.
