A flint rounded scraper of unknown date, from Mesolithic to Bronze Age, about 10000 BC - 1000 BC. The scraper is formed on a secondary flake of dark grey, opaque flint which is dark yellow near the cortex and has a band of light grey running through it too. It is not patinated. It is oval in plan and plano-convex. There is long, semi-abrupt, sub-parallel retouch on all but the proximal right side. 37.8mm long, 31.4mm wide and 14.1mm thick. 17.1g. The scraper is similar to, but larger than, a thumbnail scraper, but does not have covering retouch.
