A complete Roman copper-alloy contemporary copy of a nummus of the House of Constantine dating to the period c. AD 330-348 (Reece period 17). GLORIA EXERCITVS reverse type depicting a crude rendition of two soldiers and one standard. Mintmark: - // [ ]

Diameter: 11.4mm. Weight: 0.55g. DA=12:8.

Notes:

This is quite an unusual copy. The reverse of the coin is based on a prototype of a coin struck c. AD 335-341; the obverse appears to come from a coin struck sometime in the AD 320s.
