A post-Medieval cast copper-alloy drawer handle pull (1700-1800).
This object is moulded at the front, semi-circular at one end and bifurcated at the opposite end. At the semi-circular end there is a central integral rivet below which there is a wide horizontal groove.
This object is smooth and reddish brown with off-white material around the rivet.
Height: 29.4mm; width: 30.1mm; thickness: 3.8mm. Weight: 6.90g.
Notes:
It is possible that the object could be an eighteenth century tankard thumb-rest (pers.comm. Robert Webley, Somerset FLO, 19/5/2014).
