A cast lead incomplete pencil perhaps dating to the Medieval period. The object is circular in section tapering to a blunted point at one end. The opposite end terminates with a break. The object is undecorated.

Stylus' of this type are known to have been in use from the Medieval to Post-Medieval periods and due to a lack of contextual evidence and any diagnostic features it is not possible to date this object any more closely.
