One half of a cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle. The object has moulded foliate decoration on the outer face of the frame. The end of the frame and either end of the strap bar are decorated with a projecting quatrefoil moulding. The pin is missing. The rear of the object is flat and undecorated. The object terminates with a break which occurred during antiquity. It has a dark brown patina.
A similar example which can be found in Whitehead, (2003), is on p65, no. 397.
