Medeival lead alloy spindle whorl, 33mm in diamter, 10 mm thick and weighing 43.09grams.
The object is circular in form and bi-conical in secion with a central hole 10mm in diameter. It is decorated on both sides with a series of raised zig-zag lines which evorlap in places forming X motifs. These lines are interspersed with semi-spherial knops.
