Post-medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops oval, with a lobe at the ends of the bar. There are slight traces on black lacquer. Foliar decoration moulded in low relief, including a sexfoil in the centre of both edges is close to that on a larger example from Oxfordshire (SUR-4A4BA4). On the bar some ferrous staining may be from the pin and/or plate. 38 x 22.8mm. c.1500 - c.1650.
