An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (c. 1600-c. 1700).
This mount is sub-triangular in plan. At one end it has a pointed knop and at the opposite end there is a stalk-like knop. The body has two parallel ridges below which there are radiating grooves. The rear face is partially concave with the stubs of two spikes.
This mount is reddish brown with light green corrosion products.
