Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle frame with one oval and one trapezoid loop. There are projecting lobed knops at either end of the recessed strap bar. The loops are triangular in section with bevelled outer sides and a flat back and straight inner side. There is a small indent in the centre of the oval loop creating a pin rest. The pin is missing. It is 28.1mm long, 16.1mm wide and 3.1mm thick; it weighs 1.79 grams.
Whitehead (2003:91) illustrates a very similar example, no. 564, which he dates to c. AD 1575-1700.
