A complete cast copper alloy early medieval openwork strap end, 60mm in length. The strap end is in a devolved version of the Winchester Style with a central trunk with branches and inhabited foliage and probably dates to c950-1100. There are fifteen apertures and a series of rounded swellings along each side. The strap end has a split end with two rivet holes.
