A nearly complete Post Medieval cast copper-alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle, c. 1620-1680 AD. The remains consist of one complete loop of the buckle frame and a small portion of the other loop, with the narrowed strap bar and pin intact. The buckle frame has trefoil shaped ends and a small lobed protrusion at either side of the strap end. There is a small incised notch at the centre of the central foil on the outer edge of the remaining loop, which would have served as a pin rest. The remains of the buckle measure 31.7 mm long, 21 mm wide (at outer loop), 2.4 mm thick and weighs 3.7 grams. Cf. Whitehead 2003, p. 84, no. 523.
