A probable flint knapped late Neolithic to early Bronze Age possible large leaf-shaped arrowhead or plano-convex knife with purposefully blunted proximal end, c. 2500-1500 BC. It is also possible this was originally fashioned as one tool and then modified for another purpose, or that the original tool was not completely finished.
The object is sub-leaf shaped, with working all over both faces. Instead of a pointed oval shape as is common to these types, the proximal end has been knapped blunt and straight across, perhaps shaped to fit into a haft. The distal end tapers to a sharp point. The right mesial edge has been retouched from both dorsal and ventral faces. The left mesial edge has been retouched, but more lightly and arguably is blunt for the left hand. The flint tool has a flattened and thin oval cross-section.

The identification of this object would benefit from the assessment of a lithic specialist.
