Compete copper alloy hinged mirror case that consists of two circular discs that both have inwards facing rims that project down at a right angle for the top of each disc. Each disc has a double pierced lug on the edge with a single pieced lug on the opposite edge. To form the hinge a single lug form one disc has been inserted in between a double lug on the second disc, which is then held in place with a copper alloy pin. The outer edge of both discs are decorated with a series of curvilinear lines consisting of a concave crescent in each corner that has been arranged to form a cross and a transverse line running from one set of lugs to the other. The lines are made from a series of double opposing punched triangles.
Inside one of the cases are the remains of a white paste that would have held a mirror in place.
Each individual disc measures 41mm, long 30mm wide, 4mm high, when closed the case is 7.5mm thick and when open it is 78mm long
