Opaque buff Flint or Chert barbed and tanged arrowhead, of form Sutton A. A rectangular tang is flanked by the slightly indented lower edge of the blade. There is overall invasive scalar retouch to one side, with much sparser working, except on the tang, on the other. The flint confers a slightly wavy profile. The heavy broad form is be apt to a hunting arrowhead intended to shear muscle and promote bleeding, weakening the prey and providing a trail for dogs to follow. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC.
