Post Medieval lead alloy two-disc type cloth seal. Part of one disc remains with the central rivet which would have attached the discs together. The disks and connecting strip have broken away with patinated breaks. The piece has a raised stamped design on one side of a central motif, possibly a letter B or D within a pelleted inner circle encircled by a legend, possibly [...]W[...] or V. The other side is plain or worn. It is now 13.5mm by 12.3mm, 3.6mm thick and it weighs 2.16 grams.
From the limited amount of the design visible it has not been possible to identify it but the general style is similar to alnage seals dating to the late Medieval to Post Medieval periods.
