A cast copper alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period. The object is shield shaped in plan with a projection at the top. The projection is oval in cross-section and would have had a circular loop at the top for attachment. The remains of a heraldic device can be seen on the outer face. The device has a cross fourchée which would have been enamelled. The rear of the object is undecorated and corroded. The pendant is corroded and has been over cleaned removing any patina.
The object can be dated to the 14th century.
