An incomplete gilt copper alloy Corpus Christi (body of Christ crucified) figurine. The head, upper torso and partial arms survive. The arms are raised so that the missing hands were above the head. The head projects forwards and is slightly tilted to the figure's right. Behind the head is a circular nimbus or halo decorated with three arms of an equal armed cross. The head and face are well modeled with details of the eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows, beard and hair clearly rendered. The hair falls in coiled locks onto both shoulders and is waved from a mid line on the crown. The back behind the nimbus and arms is flat, but it is hollowed behind the chest. The surface retains parts of the heavily applied gilding. This was probably fixed to a wooden cross.
