A cast copper-alloy button of Post-Medieval date. It has a biconical head that is hollow and has openwork decoration. At the centre of the back face is an integral suspension loop with circular aperture. The front and back surfaces of each hemisphere have six triangular perforations and there is a small projecting knop at the centre of the front face. The entire object has worn surfaces and measures 16.89mm in length, 11.16mm in diameter and 1.51g in weight. This button is of early Post-Medieval date with a near identical parallel noted from Norwich (Margeson, 1993: no. 102). It is of probable 16th to 17th century AD date.
