A complete flint notched scraper of Neolithic date (4000-2350 BC). The lithic is L shaped in profile. The dorsal surface is convex with four predominant negative scars and corresponding arrises. A minor amount of cortex is retains across the dorsal mesial area and some patination is present along the left hand edge. The proximal edge has been abruptly blunted, the distal, left and right hand edges contain semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is slight concave with minor negative scars near the proximal end. There are shallow ripples of percussion emanating towards the distal end.
The flint is a dark grey with cream inclusions throughout. The cortex is a light brown in colour. The patina is light bluish cream in colour.
