A complete flint thumb nail scraper of Neolithic date (4000-2350 BC). The lithic is sub-ovate in profile. The dorsal surface smooth and slightly concave, there is a single negative scar situated along the proximal right hand edge. The distal, left and right hand edges contain rough cross abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is smooth and convex due to a small bulb of percussion situated along the proximal edge, there are large ripples of percussion emanating from it.
The flint is a dark grey in colour with cream and black inclusions throughout.
