Fragment of Late Saxon copper alloy harness cheek-piece, flat-sectioned Ringerike style terminal (4mm thick), curved stylised dragon head with projecting crest (similar to a the coxcomb of a cockerel) of four points, large annulet for an eye, flaring mouth with projecting tongue, broken across curved neck. >34 x >30mm.
