Silver coin. Halfgroat of the first reign of Henry VI (1422-1461), annulet-trefoil sub issue of 1422-1427

Obverse description: Facing bare shouldered bust with tall bifoliate crown and annulets above either shoulder within a nine arched tressure with trefoils on its cusps. Mintmark pierced cross (18).

Obverse inscription: +hENRICxD[--]RAxREXxNO[?]STR

Reverse description: Long cross, three pellets in each angle with a central annulet in opposite quarters, inscription of two orders. Double or colon style saltire punctuation.

Reverse inscription: (outer): POSVIo/DEVMxx/ADIVT/ORE'M'x

(inner): VIL/LAxx/CAL/ISxx
