A copper-alloy wire pin of probable later Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It has a cylindrical shaft that has been bent at its mid point to an angle of 45 degrees, and has a sharp tapering point. The head is integrally cast, globular in form, oval sectioned and seemingly undecorated. The entire object measures 30.02mm in length (bent), 1.30mm in diameter at shaft, 3.48mm in diameter at head, and 0.57g in weight. This pin is similar to examples from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991: pp. 297-304) and Norwich (Margeson, 1993: nos. 46, 48) and probably dates to the later Medieval to Post-Medieval periods, c.14th-17th centuries, if not later.
