A copper-alloy button of probable Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date.
The solid-cast head of the button takes the form of a four-sided pyramid. The integrally cast loop extends backwards from the centre of the underside of the head, its straight sides flaring towards a rounded distal end, where there is a circular perforation.
