Medieval copper alloy mount in the form of a standing bird facing left in relief, in rather abraded condition, with the remains of one iron rivet. The surface of the metal is purplish. Cf. an example from Wreningham, Norfolk (HER 28868, NMS-2DA900). Length 32mm. Height 19mm. Thickness 3.5mm. c.1100 - c.1300.
