A copper alloy nummus of the emperor Gratian dating to the period AD 367-375 (Reece period 19). The obverse depicts a pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust facing right and is inscribed D N GRATIANVS AVGG AVG. The reverse depicts the emperor standing holding a standard and shield and is inscribed GLORIA NOVI SAECVLI. Mintmark TCON in exergue. Mint of Arles. LRBC 529.
