A Post Medieval copper alloy Nuremberg jetton from the workshop of Hans Krauwinckel II dating from between AD 1586 and 1635. The jetton is of the rose/ orb type. The obverse legend reads [H]ANNS with a double N suggesting the maker to be Hans Krauwinckel II rather than I. The reverse legend is worn with much missing but the letters N MAC are visible, thus the full inscription may read GOTES SEGEN MACHT REICH. The surface of the jetton is very worn and appears to have been folded down its centre. Some of the edge of the flan is missing as around a quarter of the jetton has broken off and is lost. The jetton has a patchy green patina. For similar examples see SWYOR-1B5272 and SWYOR-9522C8.
