A Medieval copper alloy buckle of AD 1250-1400 date. The buckle has a single oval loop with four lobed knops of the molded outer edge. The frames has an offset strap bar with a wire pin still attached. The buckle is 14.7mm long, 12.2mm wide, 1.6mm thick and weighs 0.91 grams. a similar example can been seen in Whitehead page 22 ref. 97.
