Silver half groat of Edward III, standard type G (AD1356-61). Obverse depicts crowned bust forward with annulet below bust. Obverse legend: EDWARDVS REX ANGL [Z FRA] (NCI). Reverse depicts a long cross dividing the legends with three pellets in each quarter. Reverse inscription: POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM: CIVITAS LONDON. North no. 1201. The coin is clipped and in fair condition.
