A complete flint single platform blade core of Mesolithic date (9500-4300 BC). The core is sub-ovate in profile with negative scares running circumferentially with a minor amount of retained cortex at one end.
The core is a light grey colour with cream inclusions throughout. The cortex is a dark cream in colour.
