Cast copper alloy buckle frame dating from the late 17th or early 18th century. Trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle with drilled frame for separate spindle (still in place). Pin missing. The frame is heavily tinned and all the tinning remains. The frame is made up of four bulbous mouldings and two curved moustache-ornaments.
