A copper alloy Post Medieval coin weight which is sub-square in plan and has designs on both faces. On the obverse the design is, within a circular border, a crown with XXXIII below and an 'S' below that. The reverse has a shield within a wreath. The surface has a shiny, abraded brown patina. It measures 22.21mm long, 21.96mm wide, 3.81mm thick and weighing 12.7g.
The coin weight is for a rose ryal of James I (1603 - 1625), 2nd coinage revalued (Withers P. & B.R. Lions, Ships and Angels Galata Print. Powys).
