An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Post-medieval date. It is a double trapezoidal frame which is rectangular in section and one side of which is missing due to old breaks. The central bar is slightly narrowed for the pin which is present and there are knops at the top and bottom of this. The outside edge has a central traingular knop flanked by semi-circular ones. The pin is bent around the central bar in an open loop. It is rectangular in section and tapers to a point. The object measures 23.33mm in length, 21.55mm in width, 1.78mm in thickness and weighs 3.71g.
