A cast copper-alloy strap fitting or belt mount of Post-Medieval date. It has a flat plate that is in the form of a fleur-de-lis, the side fleurs curving around towards the base of the motif to form two circular apertures at the centre of the plate. At the base of the plate is a double transverse groove beneath which the base of the mount is trefoil shaped in form. On the back face of the mount are two integrally cast cylindrical lugs, one at the top and one at the bottom, both now missing their tips due to old breaks. The entire object measures 23.14mm in length, 18.66mm in width, 1.81mm in thickness and 2.29g in weight. This is probably a decorative belt mount or strap fitting and dates to the Post-Medieval period, c.16th-17th centuries AD.
