A Mesolithic - Neolithic flint blade flake from a single platform prepared core, dating 8,300 - 2,100BC. This is a tertiary flake with no cortex remaining. There are four blade flake removal scars on the dorsal surface. There is some damage to the butt and the dorsal surface which is obscuring some of the detail. The flint was originally grey brown and there has been some recortication resulting in a milky appearance.
