A complete and corroded Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy square double sided bullion weight (c. 1250-c. 1600 AD).
Both faces of this weight have a lion rampant with a single annulet. All the sides have file marks.
The weight may be from the Low Countries - Mid-13th-16 century is the likely date span (pers. comm. Paul Withers, 08/06/2012).
