Post Medieval copper alloy mount with integral attachments. The mount has a lozenge-shaped central section flanked at one side with a tri-lobed terminal and on the other is joined to an oval plate by a collar. The mount is think and flat except for a slight rise at the joint of collar and central section. The reverse has two integral rivet, one at the edge of tri-lobed terminal and one on the collar. Each rivet is central in the plate, bent outwards facing the ends. The mount measures 39.6mm long, 14.1mm wide, 5.7mm thick including the attachments (36.3mm long and 1.6mm thick excluding) and weighs 4.47 grams.

Read (2001: 36) has a similar example which he dates to the 17th century AD.
