The fitting is sub-triangular in plan with a rectangular upper body which tapers from narrow shoulders into a rounded triangular lower body. The upper surface is decorated with incised decoration consisting of an area of cross hatching though much of the decoration is indiscernible. From the reverse of the fitting the remains of a worn rectangular projection are present. The metal is a mid greenish-red colour and is worn.
