A copper-alloy pin of probable Late Medieval date.
The pin has a solid-cast, spherical head and an integral shaft of circular section. The shaft is slightly bent and the tip is probably missing.
Dimensions: 38.2mm long, 5.6mm wide (diameter of head). Weight: 1g. Similar pins were found in Medieval contexts in London (Egan and Pritchard 1991: 297-304, cf. no. 1488), the majority in 14th to 15th century deposits.
