An incomplete copper alloy Finger Ring dating to the second half of the 1st century AD and 2nd century AD of the Roman period. The finger ring is an example of the Henig Type III. Most of the hoop has been broken, leaving wide shoulders either side that taper towards the break. The bezel is oval in shape and inlaid with a red enamel intaglio with incised decoration. The decoration has been worn leaving it difficult to interpret, it consists of a number of incised lines and dots. The metal is dark green/brown in colour and the object weighs 2.0g, measuring 15.32mm in length, 10.6mm in width and the band is 2.65mm thick.
