A Medieval copper-alloy rolled sheet metal chape. The chape is cylindrical, and its upper edge is incomplete due to old breaks. There are five rivet holes close to the upper edge. The chape is plain, and tapers to its foot which is oval. It measures 39.50mm in length, 25.80mm in width at the attachment edge and weighs 5.30g.
