An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of Roman date (AD 75-175). The pin, spring, and head area all missing, only the bow, foot and catch plate remain. The brooch is likely a trumpet style but too little remains to be sure of this. There is a semicircular ridge at the top of the bow and a longitudinal ridge running from the top to the foot of the bow. The foot itself has a two step decoration. The reverse retains the catch plate but is otherwise undecorated.
The colour is a mid to dark brown.
